Craig grew up under his father’s feet (and on his sisters’ and mother's nerves) at their family business: Sarnia Home Hardware. As one of the founding stores in Home Hardware systems, taking risks, working hard, and thinking big have long been family traits. His dad and grandpa (called “Papa”) worked in the hardware store, and Papa taught Craig his hobby of woodworking, inspiring his career choice early in life. Craig sought higher education and found his niche as a carpenter’s apprentice. When the company he was working for fell on hard times, Craig ventured out on his own, creating Covenant Construction with his wife Bonnie.

Together the Hardys have raised three successful children they’re immensely proud of: Kristen, Kendra, and Becky. They love their London, Ontario community,  their work and the staff that make it all possible. Their unending love for their own family is what fuels them to create beautiful, functional safe spaces other families can call home, and that add value to their communities.
