An Addition to Aspire To
This client approached us after creating initial design plans for their new space, which included an addition, with a talented architect. We were able to team up with both of them to advance their exciting project, facilitate all of the design and construction work, and bring their plans to life.
The architect for this project was Matter Architectural Studio Inc.
A Seamless Aesthetic
A key goal for these homeowners was to create something seamless, that didn’t obviously appear to be an addition. With intentional design choices, a revamped layout and the right selection of materials, we were able to ensure the whole space flowed together naturally - and looked as if it had always been there.

Kitchen Relocation
One of the first things the client told us was that they were after a WOW factor in their kitchen, and we couldn’t wait to make it happen. By adding unique features, like wooden beams on the ceiling for extra dimension (fun fact: these are actually made of foam and are very lightweight!), the space is sure to make an impression on all who spend time there. The kitchen was also relocated entirely to the centre of the house, better reflecting its purpose as the heart of the home. A stunning and spacious walk-in pantry was added to enhance functionality and cleanliness.

Living Room Flow
In the spirit of reconfiguring this home to better suit this family’s day-to-day life, the living room was moved to where the kitchen once was, which allowed it to connect to the backyard. This relocation resulted in a natural connection to the backyard and pool, making it easy for family and guests to come in and out throughout their frequent gatherings.
